Charlotte Chinese Academy Charity Event for China Earthquake Victims

At 14:28 PM Beijing Time, May 12, 2008. A 7.9-magnitude earthquake hit Wenchuan, Sichuan Province. The earthquake is so powerful that half of China can feel the impact. Even Thailand and Viet Nam can feel the shock wave. We have up to 9,000 confirmed dead and counting.

In wake of this terrible tragedy, every Chinese is saddened by the loss of life and feel the pain of victims. Let’s unite and lend our helping hand to the people in the regions impacted by this tragedy. Please contribute whatever you could to them, give them our pray, support and hope.

Charlotte Chinese Academy (CCA) will hold a charity donation event on May 18, 2008 which is our final school day. We welcome all of you to this event. CCA will donate 100% of your proceeds to China Red Cross organization. CCA is IRS qualified non-profit organization, your generous donation is tax-deductible and many of local employers such as Wachovia and BofA are also match your donation to CCA.

Let’s give our thoughts and prayers to the earthquake victims and help them to rebuild their homes now, thank you very much for your generosity.
