Candlelight Vigil for Asian Disaster Relief
What would your life be like after a massive 8.0 earthquake or Cyclone? What would you do if you lost a loved one?
Natural disasters don’t care, but WE care, and we know YOU care, AMERICANS CARE!
The destructions from the Sichuan earthquake in China and Cyclone Nargis in Myanmar were staggering and tragic: more than 200,000 people died, hundreds of thousands got injured, and millions of people lost homes. In Sichuan alone, 45 million people were affected by the quake, including 15 million who lost homes. Please come to pray for the deceased to rest in peace and the survivors to be strong, recover, and rebuild. These terrible tragedies have brought a compassionate group of Chinese and Americans people together. Please join C.A.R.E. LOVE (“Chinese and Americans Relaying Endless LOVE”) in remembering these victims.

Sichuan, Americans Care!

Rita & Catryna (Pictured Above) and Ed Connelly became a family in Wuhan, China on January 7, 2003. That day Rita and Ed knew that their lives were forever changed. Rita and Ed have said that this was the best blessing of their lives and not only have they been blessed to have a compassionate and loving child, but they have been blessed to share in the Chinese culture that is now a part of their family. Because of this blessing, their eyes have been opened to the world. They believe we are all one and boundaries do not exist in their eyes. That is why when the earthquake in Sichuan occurred and the cyclone in Myanmar, their hearts were broken. After many phone calls trying to find out how they could help these victims, they had another blessing come to their lives, the group they have met and are now called CARE LOVE (“Chinese and Americans Relaying Endless LOVE”).
Come and share a short time with us as we remember all of those victims who have suffered terrible tragedy in Sichuan and Myanmar.
