Dear Friends:

We would like to update everyone that we have wired the money to the China Red Cross on Monday, May 19, 2008. The wire confirmation is attached. (wire_transfer_image)

The crisis is not yet over and we are still accepting donations. If you know anyone who missed pervious opportunities to donate but would still like to contribute, please ask them to send their checks the address provided above or contact a CCA board member. We will be wiring another round of funds to the Red Cross in early June.

We are also expected to receive $12,500 in matching funds from Wachovia Bank and another $2,059 from Bank of America thanks to everyone who took the time to apply for matching gifts. Those funds should be available to us by early July and we will wire them to the China Red Cross as soon as we receive them.
